HISTORY OF GREEN STEPS
Green Steps was born from the idea that a healthy and sustainable future can only come from creating change agents who inject positive actions into the places they live, work and socialise. Green Steps' key aim was to help these change agents gain the skills to turn their organisations into innovative, functional and sustainable places to work. We do this by providing a practical, hands-on approach to learning the 'how to' of creating a sustainable workplace.
After several years of running a high successful training program within universities, whereby a small group of student leaders were selected, trained and then places as change agents within organisations, Green Steps now has a wider focus of supporting organisations both large and small to implement sustainability initiatives.
From our early beginnings in 2000, we have now trained over 800 students and professionals, worked with more than 600 organisations across Australia and delivered programs across Australia, the United Kingdom and Malaysia.
Green Steps continues to lead the way in transferring practical sustainability skills through its thoughtfully-designed and transformative education.
WE HELP TURN TALK INTO SUSTAINABLE ACTION.
